Meet Your Boudoir Photographer

Blush was founded in 2008 as a way to give women a body-positive and fun experience while creating beautiful photos. I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of women throughout the years and feel honored every time someone chooses me to be their boudoir photographer!

Empowering women to realize their unique beauty is my passion. I am here to help you on every step of the journey – from how to prepare for your shoot to how to pose!

In my personal life, I am a home body, plant lover, and cat mom to two rescued kitties, Trixie & Stevie. When I’m not working, you can find me relaxing on my patio by the fire pit, watering my flower garden, or chilling out to some YouTube.

I grew up in Spring Green, WI which is the home of Frank Lloyd Wright and the House on the Rock.
I am a morning person and my favorite time of day is between 5-7am.
I love travelling to Key West and recently fell in love with the mountains of Colorado.
I also photograph headshots & portraits through my business Katie Thering Photography & Design.
I play cards or sit by the firepit almost every weekend with my neighbors.

The studio is located in the 2010 Artblok complex near the Quarry & NE Minneapolis. The site was formally used for research for General Mills. Come see a part of history where Cheerios & the microwave oven were invented!

Our studio has a minimalistic vibe with a neutral color palette that ensures the spotlight of the photos is on you! Whether you choose timeless shades for your outfits like black or white, or opt for vibrant pops of color, everything looks stunning in our space.

Our mission during your session is to craft a diverse array of poses for your final album. We aim to create a cohesive look and feel that is not only elegant but also timeless.

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to celebrate your individuality and showcase your unique beauty. We take the time to understand your vision and collaborate closely with you, ensuring that your experience is both empowering and enjoyable.
