Outfit Ideas
Happy 2024! This year, we are starting a new monthly series featuring one of our fabulous clients. We have found that people really enjoy seeing the various poses and outfits that one person brings to a session and a blog post is a great way to share them.
We are kicking off 2024 by sharing this gorgeous client that we worked with in 2023. We love her images and are grateful she allowed us to share them with our readers!
Outfit 1: Red Negligee
Red is a classic and timeless color for boudoir photos! This negligee is the perfect shade of red for photos – the deeper tones photograph better than the bright ones. The lace detailing was also perfect – sheer or lace fabrics often to look better than silks or solid fabrics.

Outfit 2: Off-the-shoulder Sweater
We love this sexy off the shoulder sweater with skulls on it! She said this sweater fit her personality and style perfectly so it was fun incorporate it into a few poses. Not everything you bring has to be lingerie – in fact, we encourage our clients to bring a variety of outfit styles!

Outfit 3: Long sleeved lace body suit
Body suits come in so many styles and tend to be really flattering in photos. We loved this deep v-neck option with long sleeves. It allows for a variety of poses and is a bit more modest while still being extremely sexy.

Outfit 4: Cheeky lace underwear
We recommend you bring at least one pair of cheeky lace underwear to your session. We have a variety of poses that feature the booty and these are always the most flattering. Whether they are a classic black, white or a color of your choice is up to you. Jewel tones like this deep plum always photograph well!

Outfit 5: Classic white shirt
We have some sheer white shirts in the studio, or you can bring your own! Some clients bring their partner’s shirt or something with a color or pattern. A button down shirt is versitle for posing and is timeless in photos.

“Working with the professionals at Blush Twin Cities was a wonderful experience despite initial nerves and reservations. I would encourage anyone on the fence about about a boudoir shoot to go for it with Blush”
